This piece explores the digital age and the material turn in fibre arts. I explored how daily rituals were shaped by technology and realized that I was waking up and falling asleep to a screen. Each beading is a pie chart showing how much time I spent on Instagram, Snapchat, Safari, and messages. The beads that makes up the charts represent a minute spent that week on these apps. Using a beading software I created my patterns to reflect the digital pie charts showing the time and keep track of the amount of beads in each piece.
